Echoes Within

I yearn for the day when there'd be no pain,

Unburdened, carefree, and wild once again.

With a sprint in my step, a song on my lips,

Under the starry skies, as the moonlight drips.

I yearn for the day when the shadows will fade,

Unshackled, unchained, no longer afraid.

With a breath soft and deep, peace in my chest,
